Thanks Rich. SK ans I will be lining up tomorrow with much more favorable conditions forecasted than in 2007. At least weather won't provide any excuses!

Lest anyone confuse their SK's, the SK Carl mentions is Steve King.  Good luck to Steve and Carl!

Now you've got a real problem.  What will you do for an encore?

Thanks everyone.  Yes, kcb it is my first sub3.  That barrier has been a bit of a monkey on my back for the last year or so and I am thrilled to have gone under.  It was an 8 min PR for me.

Now back to triathlon training...swimming, hmmmm, anyone know how to do that?

Carl!

You have been knocking on the door for a while, congratulations!  What a great feeling to set an ambitious goal which eludes you for a while but is finally reached.  Great discipline, great effort.

no Robbo, DY threw down an impressive sub-2:50 (I want to say 2:49?) in NYC a couple years back.

CC -- Awesome Effort and Awesome Result.  Impressive.
With your speed on the bike and run, why bother about the swim -- just do American Zofingen Long Course in May !!!!!
Congratulations

CC - DAMN! Sub 3 buys you a seat into a very elite club! I knew when I saw you at Toughman you were ready to rumble. GREAT JOB!   (You must have been very close to Paul Bashforth not sure if you've met him...he's my partner in True-Motion- he ran 3:04)
